RAY IS A PRODUCT OF A DIVORCE. HIS “MOM” MOVED OUT OF HER HOUSE AND HER HUSBAND DIDN’T LIKE DOGS SO SHE ASKED HER NEIGHBORS (WHO USED TO SNEAK HIM BISCUITS THROUGH THE FENCE EVERY DAY!) IF THEY WOULD TAKE HIM SO HE WOULDN’T HAVE TO GO TO THE SHELTER. OF COURSE THEY SAID YES, AND THEY WOULD LOVE TO KEEP HIM IF THEY COULD, BUT THEIR DOG IS VERY DOG AGGRESSIVE, SO RAY IS LIVING IN A DOG RUN. HE HAS A TON OF ENERGY SO WOULD BE GOOD FOR SOMEONE THAT LIKES TO HIKE, OR RUN. RAY IS APPROX. 7-8 YEARS OLD, HAS BEEN NEUTERED, VACCINATED, AND MICROCHIPPED. HE WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 65 POUNDS. NOT SURE HOW HE IS WITH OTHER DOGS OR CATS, BUT HE IS EXTREMELY SWEET WITH PEOPLE AND NOT AGGRESSIVE AT ALL. LOVEBUG WAS IN AN ABUSIVE HOME WHERE THEY KEPT HIM TIED UP IN THE FRONT YARD BY HIS LEG. HIS RESCUER SAW HIM AS SHE PASSED BY AND TRIED TO SPEAK TO THE OWNER, BUT IT WAS QUITE OBVIOUS THAT THEY DID NOT CARE AND SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY ANIMALS. SO, SHE CONTACTED ANIMAL CONTROL WHO CAME AND TOOK THE DOG AWAY FROM THEM. AFTER THE REQUIRED TIME PERIOD, SHE RESCUED HIM OUT OF THE SHELTER, AND HAS CARED FOR HIM FOR A FEW MONTHS, TAKING HIM TO THE VET FOR AN UPPER RESPIRATORY AILMENT (WHICH IS NOW GONE!). BUT SHE CANNOT KEEP HIM AS SHE HAS NO TIME FOR HIM AND ALREADY HAS TOO MANY ANIMALS. HE’S BEEN NEUTERED AT THE SHELTER AND MICROCHIPPED AND VACCINATED. HE WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 45 POUNDS, AND HE IS A DEFINITE “LOVEBUG”. HE IS NOT AT ALL AGGRESSIVE, BUT CAN BE FRIGHTENED IF HE IS SHOUTED AT (OR THINKS HE IS!), SINCE HE WAS NOT TREATED WELL IN HIS FORMER HOME. 8 WEEK DOG TRAINING CLASS FOR BEGINNERS (Sunday June 6, 2010)

Please join us at Total Pet Care for an opportunity to teach your dog beginner basics.
Your dog will learn SIT, DOWN, STAY, COME WHEN CALLED, LEASH WALKING, AND A COUPLE OF BEGINNER LEVEL TRICKS.
We will also address common behavior problems, such as, barking, jumping, socialization, and potty training.

At Total Pet Care, you and your dog will enjoy positive, reward based training with small sized classes and GUARANTEED RESULTS!
If you are not happy with the training for any reason during the 8 week course, your money will be prorated and returned.

Who: Any dog of any size and any age who needs beginner level training or a refresher course on basic behaviors.
If you believe your dog is aggressive, please contact the trainer before the first day of class for an assessment.

When:8 week class:
1. Sunday July 18, 2010 8pm
2. Tuesday July 20, 2010 6:30pm
The 8 week class will meet once a week on Sunday (or Tuseday) at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Cost: $240 per dog

What to bring on the first day of class:
1. your dog
2. a collar and leash
3. treats your dog enjoys
4. a blanket or towel for your dog
5. payment in the form of cash or check
6. proof of current vaccinations is required for entry into the class for the safety of all dogs who enjoy boarding, grooming, and training at Total Pet Care

Potty Training Class! (Sunday, May 16, 2010)

When you leave this class, you will have all of the information you need to fully potty train your dog!
Any dog at any age can be potty trained.

Who
Classes are held at a boarding facility. Although you do not need to bring your dog, you may bring your leashed dog to the class. If you bring your dog, you must have proof of vaccinations-NO EXCEPTIONS. Leashes and vaccinations are required for the health and safety of all dogs who enjoy the facility.

We are proud to announce that our new dog hotel has opened!

In order for us to take in more clients and provide a better environment for the dogs, we created a new and improved dog hotel. All of our client’s opinions and comments were taken into consideration when making our new facility.

Customers ranging from West LA all the way to Orange County will be able to conveniently utilize our facility due to our new location. Just 3 minutes away from the LAX, right by the 405 freeway.

We work hard at creating an at-home atmosphere for each and every dog.
Our new facility is spacious enough for us to separate and group dogs based on their size and temperament.

Also, our over 1,000 sq/ft. indoor dog park will be the best part of our facility!
The dogs will be able to run around despite the weather condition outside.
We are equipped with a grooming room and a large meeting room.
We make an effort to keep our facility safe and clean.
